provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its
reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets.
CWMD Operations partners with the business and across the firm to deliver comprehensive capabilities,
solutions and operational excellence in support of the Firm’s global consumer and private wealth
CWMD Market Solutions leads cross-industry digital transformation strategy for Goldman Sachs’ CWM
Operations. We collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as partners across a diverse portfolio of
vendors, clients, industry associations, and counterparties to define and deliver the future state of
consumer and wealth management globally. Our diverse team brings experience from financial services,
consulting, and technology to identify and develop transformative solutions to complex challenges.
CWMD Market Solutions is looking for a Vice President to join our team. To be successful in this team,
you need to be strong in both strategy and implementation, in verbal and written communications, able
to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with peers at all level, be tech savvy and passionate
about digital transformation in financial services.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
• Identify opportunities to develop optimal industry operating models through partnering with
divisional, business, and external stakeholders
o Review new fintech firms for opportunities to accelerate digital transformation at GS
o Drive adoption of innovative solutions and technologies across the firm to deliver a more
efficient cost effective process
o Proactively manage external relationships for GS to achieve the firm’s commercial and
o Provide transparent connectivity for market infrastructure relationships at all levels of the
o Research new technologies, vendors, and concepts then facilitate internal education and
socialization of these advances
o Coordinate the firm’s vendor management program for market infrastructure providers,
which will assess vendors’ risk management, fee structure, service level, and issue
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• BA/BS or equivalent
• At least 8-10 years of professional work experience, with previous experience in Operations, the
Financial Services industry, Project Management, Vendor Management and / or Management
• Ability to operate independently and effectively drive multiple initiatives
o Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to influence a wide range
of stakeholders, both internally and externally
o Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
o Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
o Detail oriented with the ability to quickly identify and learn pertinent information across
wide range of businesses
o Outstanding analytical and decision-making skills
o Ability to combine tactical and strategic thinking
o Track record of scoping and driving delivery of projects
• Fintech background and/or experience building digital products in a fast-paced, agile product
• Familiarity with cloud-based technology and application program interfaces (API)
• Consumer banking experience is a plus
