Who We Are

 

The Corporate and Workplace Solutions Division (CWS) is comprised of Corporate and Workplace Solutions and the Office of Global Security. Our team focuses on commercial management, client support, advisory solutions, strategic planning, risk management, people security, real estate strategy and the enablement of collaboration and productivity tools across the firm.

How We’re Organized

 

Workplace Experience - Encompasses the comprehensive onsite workplace experience, how people interact with the workplace, on and off-site events and our overall location strategy. Departments include Events, Real Estate Strategy, Real Estate Development and On-Site Solutions, which is comprised of Document Management, Facilities, Ground Transportation and Hospitality.

 

Spend Management - Encompasses the functions responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's spend with third parties -- advising commercial agreements, managing third party and payment risk and driving operating efficiency. Departments include Product Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Third Party Governance, Procure to Pay, Integrated Travel and Expense and Infrastructure and Transformation.

 

CWS Engineering - Aligns several engineering functions focused on collaboration and productivity tools. Departments include Digital Workplace, Client and Production Engineering, Corporate Engineering, Spend, Data and Automation and Product Success and Delivery Engineering.

 

Office of Global Security (OGS) - Protects the people and assets of Goldman Sachs to ensure a safe and secure environment. Assesses risk to enable the delivery of effective security, fire and life safety protocols and leads crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery processes. Includes Physical Security & Investigations, Executive Protection, Fire Safety and Crisis Management.

 

Divisional Management (COO) - Aligns division-wide functions to drive strategic cohesiveness, consistency and efficiency. Departments include Business Unit Management, Communications and User Engagement, Risk and Environmental, Social & Governance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

OUR IMPACT
The Integrated Travel and Expense team is a global team responsible for enabling the end-to-end experience from travel to expense.  The team is responsible for managing the firm’s travel and expense program including digitization, automation, risk & control, policy compliance and driving operating efficiencies.  In addition, the team leverages expertise and tools from travel related vendors and technology partners to operationalize the program.  The team partners with senior leadership, business owners, engineering, product finance, strategic sourcing, and risk teams to shape the strategic vision, growth and transformation of the services and achieve Corporate & Workplace Solutions’ OKRs.  Through excellent project, program, and change management skills, along with a bias for becoming the subject matter or technical expert, this team seeks to fulfil the vision of our clients, partners and employees.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert for our Travel and Expense platforms: Concur from SAP and associated linked systems.
  • Own the optimization of the associated infrastructure supporting the business process & strategy.
  • Research, benchmark and implement new disruptive technologies that enable a seamless user experience or achieve operating efficiencies
  • Act as design expert for the Concur system and other travel technologies, in collaboration with business SMEs, SAP team, corporate card provider and travel management company.
  • Lead and drive the wider infrastructure priorities, standards and strategy globally, using the Agile process.
  • Build strong business relationships with senior stakeholders firmwide to understand potential impacts on the Concur system based on divisional business and initiatives, including potential internal and external integrations.
  • Drive the implementation of new systems or functionality (internal or external) and the change management process globally to avoid disruption in current program procedures.
  • Liaise with Engineering leadership and developers in communicating business requirements, data migration, testing and deployment of new infrastructure capabilities.
  • Drive projects for continuous process improvement and bring innovation into the team. Lead initiatives against defined business case. Covering adoption, results and progress.
  • Own the configuration, administration and release management for all tools within the scope of the Concur Infrastructure team.
  • Define, analyze, design, and document business requirements, offer simplifications to requirements and manage changes made to requirements.
  • Oversee End User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles to be managed by the team including creating manual test scripts and manage the testing population results and queries.
  • Work with Concur Reporting Team, Spend Management Engineering and Travel and Expense operational teams to develop scorecards & KPIs to monitor and track SLA and manage the vendor relationship, to ensure adequate performance & stability.
  • Guide, mentor and partner with the wider team on the day-to-day technical queries related to system logic and perform defect/data analysis as well as support specific audits, internal and external.
  • Communicate progress and decision points for projects to relevant functions and maintain key documentation of approvals where required.
  • Lead a team of 2 employees (1 Analyst, 1 Associate) to both maximize their potential and develop them professionally and to grow expertize.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven change management skills in a global organization delivering both organizational and technical system changes.
  • Ability to lead all aspects of implementation from mobilization to deployment and support.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to clients throughout the project lifecycle for T&E solutions.
  • Ability to manage global team, develop, mentor and direct team and broader support.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills. Engage internal clients in business requirement discussions versus feature/function basics.
  • Technical and operational problem solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years work experience with at least 3-5 years in Travel and Expense, or similar functional area.
  • Proven influencing skills across levels and geographies. Partner with internal clients, implementation partner and technology provider resources to effectively create, manage, and monitor project plan, budget, timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and motivate others through periods of uncertainty.
