MORE ABOUT THIS JOB

GSET Production Engineering: Automation and Tools Development

We are a development group focused on building tools that enable frontline teams to support GSET trading applications efficiently and effectively.  We work primarily with the state-of-the-art Atlas system, contributing code to both our own codebase and to Atlas itself.  We are involved in metrics, montitoring, alerting, deployment and change management with the overarching goal of minimizing operational risk.

As a small team, even the most junior team members own their projects from beginning to end, interacting directly with our internal customers from design to deployment.  Through this daily interaction with core developers, frontline staff and client coverage desks, this position offers the opportunity to learn about electronic equity trading, low-latency system architecture and global markets generally.

We use primarily Python, with some Java, in a linux environment.  Applicants must be strong OO developers; associate level.
