The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm’s distinctive culture. We are responsible for safeguarding the firm’s relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm’s evolving priorities. We also partner with the businesses to source high-impact opportunities in line with the firm’s social and sustainability agendas.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Analyst/Associate, Brand Strategy for Goldman Sachs, you will partner with members of the Global Marketing team to build an exceptional brand that reflects the firm’s ambitious future. You will work across a portfolio that includes brand strategy, brand architecture, naming, and messaging for both the parent brand and the four revenue divisions. This role is on a new COE team focused on elevating our brand through strategic messaging and visual execution across the firm, in service of building a strong and consistent brand globally. In this role, you will support VP and MD team members in the creation of enterprise-level messaging, as well as strategic positioning for areas of business across the firm. This team is also responsible for developing and implementing new names and visual systems for our products and services. The role requires a person who is a big-picture thinker, with experience in brand strategy and planning, strong project management skills, and comfort leading agency partnerships. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and an organized multi-tasker who can bring fresh new ideas, push strategic thinking forward, and embody an authoritative voice to guide decisions in service of a world-class brand.
