Are you a consumer-oriented product leader looking to apply your analytical and creative skills to deliver breakthrough financial products and frictionless customer experiences? Marcus by Goldman Sachs is looking for a Product Manager to join the growing Product team within the Consumer and Wealth Management Division. The ideal candidate is extremely resourceful with prior experience managing/launching successful products, leading agile teams, and driving decision-making across cross functional groups.

 

YOUR IMPACT

 

As a Product Manager you will engage with key stakeholders across business, product, engineering and brand teams to develop, prioritize and own a part of the product roadmap for Marcus by Goldman Sachs. You will drive the agile development process to deliver new features and functionality, identifying and measuring key metrics to ensure a best in class customer experience across our web and mobile properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As a member of the US Deposits product management team, you will work with experts across roles to provide best-in-class customer service and products. In your role you will:

 

  • Specify, implement and manage retail banking products to achieve the agreed business plan, including the marketability, profitability and digitization of products
  • Analyze customer feedback and preferences to define product parameter
  • Define specific product parameters/features to be built and write user stories, customer journeys and acceptance criteria
  • Define the incremental value generated as well as the build costs required for products
  • Monitor competitor and market activity, product performance and customer behavior to implement changes to product parameters
  • Research industry trends and features to develop and pitch recommendations for the product roadmap
  • Partner with marketing teams to define marketing acquisition plan and deliver agreed commercial goals
  • Collaborate with tech, digital product managers, fraud strategy and call center leads to define a best in class digital experience. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years of product management experience in building digital products that drive business impact
  • Analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong focus on customer experience and experience delivering customer facing product features
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for projects
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities, build relationships, ability to influence and make decisions
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, consistently adhering to strict deadlines and evolving priorities
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA and Confluence
  • Bachelors/Undergraduate Degree
  • Experience working for an engineering-driven company or consumer internet company

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical knowledge (including HTML/CSS/JS/SQL)
  • Experience as a designer or engineer
  • Proficient in Sketch, Keynote or similar applications
  • Masters/ MBA degree
