The Sales Reporting and Attribution Project Manager is part of the Sales Management team which is part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Global Client Business.  Our team collaborates closely with senior management to drive growth and profitability of the business by assisting with strategic initiatives, reporting, analysis and business planning.  We develop and maintain sales metrics and business / market analytics for divisional and business managers with a clear focus on accuracy and consistency of data.  Our team works closely with Technology to enhance business reporting and client relationship management infrastructure as well as streamline processes that impact the broader sales teams.

We are seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented Associate or Vice President to join our Goldman Sachs Asset Management Global Client Business. In this role, you will partner with various groups within the Global Client Business to provide analytical support regarding our sales and distribution efforts with key lient firms, platforms and registered investment advisors.  In addition, you will support data quality initiatives by leveraging internal and external applications and databases, by partnering with Goldman Sachs Asset Management businesses, Technology and external vendors to facilitate the use of complete and accurate sales data. You will work with large amounts of data in both an independent and collaborative setting, helping provide analytical support towards the broader management team. 



  • Maintain accurate mutual fund sales data to facilitate reporting and analysis for Goldman Sachs Asset Management Client Business
  • Act as a central point of contact to research and resolve sales data inquiries and inaccuracies in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, with a particular emphasis on partnering with Goldman Sachs Asset Management Technology Teams to execute on functionality builds to support sales reporting priorities
  • Work both collaboratively and independently with sales managers and other Goldman Sachs Asset Management business groups to translate strategic initiatives into well structured, implementable projects
  • Take project management lead while partnering with Goldman Sachs Asset Management business, Goldman Sachs Asset Management technology, and external vendors to facilitate the use of complete and accurate sales data
  • Utilize programming (scripting / coding) skills, SQL and relational databases to implement reporting solutions for the Client Business
  • Analyze data workflow and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and liaise with centralized Asset Management Business Intelligence (BI) team to realize reporting efficiencies using Tableau, Alteryx and other BI tools
  • Track and report progress on projects while adhering to the solution delivery lifecycle




  • 3-5 years' experience in Business Intelligence or Sales Reporting
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Relevant experience in Sales Attribution & Reporting or Financial Services, FinTech, or Data Analytics role
  • Working knowledge of analytics applications (i.e. Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik) and database tools (e.g. Elastic, MS SQL Server, Legend)
  • Experience in programming (scripting / coding), SQL and relational databases and application development
  • Functional understanding of Salesforce / CRM platforms
  • Self-motivated team player who is able to define, structure and prioritize work, but who has the flexibility to change priorities when circumstances dictate
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build the trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally
  • Strong problem solving skills and abilities, able to craft unique solutions with limited guidance; proactive in assessing dynamic situations
  • Fast learner and effective communicator of new / complex information
  • Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
  • Confidence to challenge and be innovative
