MORE ABOUT THIS JOB

WHAT DOES PRX DO

Production Runtime Experience PRX, a part of Enterprise Technology Operations (ETO) in Core Engineering, builds products that help reduce the operational toil and focuses on production health transparency, diagnostics and resolution, production management and business continuity.

The technical stack typically comprises big data processing, machine learning, real-time streaming analytics and simplified visualization/interaction to give computer systems the ability to learn and automate many of the tasks that humans would normally perform manually to run the bank’s systems. This is achieved through sophisticated engineering; autonomics and machine learning that statistically and inductively help understand the behavior of these complex systems.

We are looking to expand our team of product managers to continue our focus in applying a product mentality to the way we build our products.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Our Product Managers lead the products through the whole product lifecycle. This includes validating problems using appropriate analysis techniques, designing solutions and driving adoption across the firm. Our Product managers determine the right thing to build and will need to work cross functionally, across design, user experience, engineering, end users and senior stakeholders. Product managers lead and strongly contribute to solution design, story mapping, product showcase, Objectives and key results formulation, and participate actively in technical approaches that affect the product outcome.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for one or more products in PRX and focus on increasing engagement with our clients and understand their problems in the product space. You will be very focused on outcomes, identifying, tracking, analyzing and owning the product roadmap.

HOW YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Engage with users to develop an understanding of the most important problems to be solved
  • Collaborate effectively with design and engineering peers to lead product development
  • Create artefacts such as product vision, roadmaps and memos to effectively engage and align stakeholders
  • Set product goals, demonstrate strong ownership of outcomes, and promote long term value to clients
  • Communicate actively using multiple forums across all levels of stakeholders to aid transparency in progress, prioritization, feedback and adoption
  • Engage with and influence stakeholders outside direct control to advance product objectives
  • Breakdown complex problems to smaller pieces of value, with an emphasis on creating backlogs that support the product roadmap
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation skills by bringing together diverse set of engineering teams and users to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Show strong initiative in learning and improving knowledge about the problem domain
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and influence outcomes by challenging status quo wherever applicable
  • Identify success criteria and use metrics to measure impact – demonstrate agility to meet product goals
