Investment Grade Acquisition Finance

YOUR IMPACT

The Investment Grade Acquisition Finance Group within the Investment Banking Division is looking for an analyst or junior associate to join the team in  New York.

 

OUR IMPACT

Our Investment Grade Acquisition Finance Group works on complex, benchmark M&A transactions across the Americas. We are the market leader in delivering committed risk capital to facilitate corporate clients’ most important strategic objectives and play a critical role in underwriting Goldman Sachs’ largest capital commitments. 

 

Our Investment Grade Capital Markets Group is responsible for structuring, negotiating, pricing and distributing investment grade loans across industry verticals.  The group works closely with classic investment banking and debt capital markets teams to execute investment grade loan financings. The group also works closely with the sales and trading teams in the Global Markets Division, which assist primary loan syndication and secondary sale processes to manage the firm’s risk exposure.

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Role Responsibilities

  •  Advise investment grade rated corporations on capital structure and market access for loan products
  • Originate, structure and execute investment grade revolving credit, term loan and bridge facilities for clients throughout the Americas
  • Work alongside banking and debt capital markets to cover a broad range of corporate clients across sectors

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of investment banking or equivalent experience
  • Strong track record of executing M&A and financing transactions in an investment banking advisory role
  • History of outstanding academic and professional achievement

 Preferred Qualifications

  •  Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong quantitative and technical abilities
  • Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
