The Firmwide Client Relationship Management (CRM) Engineering team is composed of driven, talented and passionate individuals who work closely with the business to manage client engagement and deliver intelligent workflows with exciting, impactful analytics to serve our clients as One Goldman Sachs.  The CRM team is comprised of Product Managers, Software Engineers and User Experience (UX) designers. The Firmwide CRM Engineering Salesforce Architect will collaborate closely with the product and UX teams, overseeing a team of developers, to deliver creative technology analytics and workflow solutions to our business partners. We are an equally technical and business savvy, top-performing team that is looking for a new Firmwide CRM Salesforce Architect.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Act as Firmwide CRM Salesforce architect: define acceptable software design patterns, the global SF data model, look and feel of custom components, etc.
  • Be responsible for all design and governance decisions for the Salesforce platform. Perform code reviews and manage the software development lifecycle. Act as ultimate technical owner for any Salesforce automation. Validate software design and implementation, enforce robust tests, help formulate deployment strategies and ensure software is scalable, resilient and performant.
  • Work closely with product managers to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.
  • Work with various stakeholders (including Divisional CRM Engineering Leads, Client Coverage teams and Business Sponsors) to determine the scope of business problems that will be addressed in Salesforce and the implementation of these solutions. Liaise with other engineering teams when integration with their systems is required.
  • Act as the chief developer within the platform, writing Apex and JavaScript customizations across Salesforce platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of expertise with enterprise Salesforce development.
  • Demonstrated success on a large scale CRM delivery as a Salesforce Architect or related senior engineering position.
  • Salesforce Architect certification (preferred).
  • Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills. Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communicator. Ability to summarize complex issues and situations concisely and clearly.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a global team.
  • Able to apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving and product development.
  • Strong team player and ability to work with diverse stakeholders and colleagues.
