Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Design, develop, test and support Global Portfolio Solutions’ (GPS) Portfolio Management and Trading applications that are used to manage and trade a variety of asset classes. Design and develop the User Interface (UI) of Portfolio Management applications utilizing JavaScript, Angular, NgRx, HTML, and REST on a distributed platform. Write automated end to end tests for website regression testing using Cypress as well as unitary testing using Karma, Jasmine and Mocha. Setup web-project scaffolding and bundle new UI libraries and code using Webpack, Angular CLI, NPM and YAML. Review code developed by peers and junior team members. Drive design discussions for framework and application development and evaluate as well as select tools necessary to build, test and support systems. Provide business and/or analytical support to assigned functional areas of the Firm by conducting strategic and tactical risk analyses. Responsible for every stage of the software development life-cycle(SDLC) process, including gathering requirements, software design, implementation, testing, release management, and production support. Work closely with business/end users and other technology groups within the Firm to understand business and technical requirements and translate requirements into well-engineered business applications.



Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related technology field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years with: utilizing modern web development frameworks including Angular and React to build front office software with complex user interface and interaction; using tools and techniques for automated testing of front-end with Cypress, Karma, Jasmine and Mocha; bundling web packages using Webpack, Angular CLI, NPM and Yaml; using one or more software version control technologies, including one of the following Concurrent Version System (CVS), SVN, or Git; and working with entire software development life cycle, including interacting with end users and converting user requirements into technical solutions. Prior experience must include one (1) year with: building sites that organize the UI modules with reactive state management using NgRx or RxJs.
