RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

CONSUMER (MARCUS BY GOLDMAN SACHS)

Marcus by Goldman Sachs is the firm's consumer business, combining the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with 150 years of experience. Today, Marcus has $90 billion in deposits, $7 billion in loan balances and 4 million customers across our lending and deposits businesses, as well as the personal financial management app, Clarity Money. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Manage Customer Onboarding platform for digital banking products for top global financial firm. This platform is used for onboarding customers for originating Card, Personal Loan and Deposit products. Future plan include on-boarding Wealth Management accounts through the same platform.
  • Manage relationship across various product verticals to manage and prioritize implementation of Credit and Fraud rules.
  • Integrate the Platform for various product offerings and expand the scope of its usage
  • Manage Vendor relationship with 3rd party Platform provider and improve architecture design to use the platform across various products
  • Manage a highly talented team of coders and testers across various geographic locations

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing application processing platform. Hands-on experience with C++, Java, Python or an equivalent programming language, and thorough knowledge of object oriented software engineering concepts
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in implementing Machine Learning models on real time decision platforms
  • Hands on experience on micro-service design and implementation, such as dedicated decision engines and/or orchestration layers.
  • Experience in Managing several projects simultaneously and driving end-to-end project delivery
  • Prior experience managing tech-oriented teams
  • Preferably 4+ years of experience in financial services in technology related functions
  • Deep understanding of available technology, products and pain points of credit decision execution.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to articulate complex ideas, express and defend a point of view, and influence outcomes
