The Goldman Sachs Asset Management Division (“AMD”) delivers innovative investment solutions through a global, multi-product platform that offers clients the advantages that come with working with a large firm, while maintaining the benefits of a boutique. The Platform Development Team within GSAM’s Americas Client Business is responsible for advancing commercial opportunities and deepening relationships across a diverse set of financial intermediaries that include wealth management firms, asset managers, DC/DB platforms and consultants, outsourced CIOs and FinTech providers. The team is focused on marketing GSAM’s full suite of investment strategies and vehicles to those intermediaries for placement within their discretionary portfolios and recommended lists.
We work closely with investment professionals who manage discretionary portfolios, recommended lists, and provide asset allocation guidance. Our main responsibility is to understand their investment needs, consult on appropriate GSAM investment solutions and shepherd final stages of the sales process. Beyond providing investment solutions, the team deepens relationships with clients by delivering best-in-class client service, valuable market insights and unique advisory services.
We are seeking a hardworking, detailed-oriented Associate to partner with a senior business development professional. The candidate’s primary responsibility is to support all sales and client service activities across a diverse set of strategically important clients and prospects. The candidate will also be expected over time to lead the development of their own accounts and contribute to the broader Platform Development team.
