The firm’s Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with more than 150 years of experience. Today, we serve millions of customers across multiple products including lending, deposits, financial tools, and our partnership with Apple on Apple Card. We use innovative design, data, engineering and other core capabilities to provide customers with powerful tools and products that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity. As we build a leading digital consumer bank and expand into new products and partnerships, we are looking for leaders and individual contributors to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Drive executional excellence and consistency across the organization by creating and refining playbooks, toolkits, and templates that can be leveraged by product and project teams to manage all aspects of a program or initiative
  • Implement frameworks, tools, or processes that drive continuous improvement by analyzing data or information from teams to identify and address inefficiencies
  • Assist in the oversight, management, and reporting across Roadmaps, working with Program managers to identify and remediate risks, issues, or blockers as they arise
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Business, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives across the organization
  • Generate strategic insights to inform Leadership decision-making
  • Prepare materials for recurring and ad-hoc Executive Leadership decision-making forums
  • Increase collaboration and information sharing across business lines by working with business partners to design, introduce, or re-engineer existing processes
  • Assist in the implementation of operating models, governance routines, and launch readiness in preparation for the introduction of new products to market
  • Take complete ownership of projects and initiatives, carefully managing business case, scope, schedule, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies and interim milestones
  • Develop and deliver necessary presentations including supporting documentation to all levels throughout the organization

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years (VP) or 4+ years (AS) of experience in enterprise or program management, management consulting, or similar
  • FinTech or Digital Banking experience preferred
  • Experience developing and managing product roadmaps
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation-making skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels and across functions within an organization
  • Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution
  • Strong sense of detail and urgency
  • Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree
