The firm’s Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with more than 150 years of experience. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Responsible for owning the end-to-end product development lifecycle in an Agile environment for new features owned by the Communications Delivery Team as part of new product development across Marcus Deposit organization.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Define product features and requirements and user stories with concise acceptance criteria for communication channels such as email, SMS, and push notifications
  • Facilitate kick off meetings with relevant stakeholders, as well as PI (Program Increment) planning sessions to ensure commitment to PI objectives
  • Manage the development cycle for customer communications related to newly developed product features
  • Coordinate with development tech teams via daily standups to groom JIRA stories and tasks associated with new features owned by team
  • Collaborate across other product managers to define requirements and development timelines for new communications and features
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for product process development and testing
  • Manage the identification and resolution of bugs with new feature releases
  • Provide detailed reporting and managerial support to Program Office related to all aspects of the Communication team scope

 

Required Experience:

  • ​​​​​3-7 years of Product management in an Agile environment, including familiarity with the overall Agile methodology
  • Proficient in Jira and content management tools such as Adobe Experience Manager
  • High-level technical knowledge related to the implementation of digital products
  • Familiarity with consumer banking products (Checking, Savings, CD, etc.)
  • Managing components of complex implementations as part of a broad, multi-year effort
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, consistently adhering to strict deadlines and evolving priorities
  • Proven capability to coordinate UAT/QM to validate functionality
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication / presentation skills
  • Knowledge of consumer communication channels (Email, SMS, Push)
