The firm’s Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with more than 150 years of experience. Today, we serve millions of customers across multiple products including lending, deposits, financial tools, and our partnership with Apple on Apple Card. We use innovative design, data, engineering and other core capabilities to provide customers with powerful tools and products that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity. As we build a leading digital consumer bank and expand into new products and partnerships, we are looking for leaders and individual contributors to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Focus is on UI/UX for Agent and Operation screens enabling efficient and comprehensive service to the customer
  • Develop and implement product strategies in coordination with the Operations team and other key stakeholders
  • Define requirements and help design new features to be built based on a deep understanding of the agent and customer journeys
  • Work directly with Agent UI/UX designer to ensure that the design is aligned to requirements
  • Write user stories with detailed requirements and acceptance criteria. Groom stories with developers and designers
  • Manage feature builds to ensure full functionality and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience

Articulate product features and requirements to different audiences (from development teams to program leadership)

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3-7 years of product management experience in a fast-paced, agile product development environment
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment, consistently adhering to strict deadlines and evolving priorities
  • Proven ability to create Business Process Maps & operating procedures
  • Experience creating technical documentation
  • Ability to create comprehensive training materials
  • Experience in the creation of business policies
  • Proven capability to coordinate UAT/QM to validate functionality
  • Experience in Agent UI/UX development
  • Proficient in Jira or similar applications
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication / presentation skills
