YOUR IMPACT

As a Product Strategy Associate on our PFMG Product team, a new high priority focus area you will envision the future of the high-net worth product for Goldman Sachs clients.  As a new business line for the firm that has historically targeted only ultra-high net worth individuals, we are now expanding to serve a much broader clientele.  You are strong at execution, and able to collaborate across business partners to execute on our strategy.  You are a jack of all trades, and can dig-in wherever is most needed. 

Our team collaborates across a broad cross-section of the organization, executing on our goal of bringing a world class feature set and user experience to serve the needs of our client base.

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Develop the vision for products by analyzing market research and client or advisor insights
  • Collaborate with Technology teams, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and others to execute on our client and advisor experiences
  • Translate business needs into product strategy Ensure high-quality user experiences for end users by working closely with UX/UI designer
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to develop and communicate product roadmaps
  • Drive and prepare ROI driven business cases
  • Define and develop customer journeys
  • Stay close to industry trends and apply innovative concepts to the product as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ degree required
  • 5+ years’ experience in product management or business technology
  • Ability to extrapolate business needs given a problem statement and a base understanding of the capabilities of available technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with a focus on execution
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus across a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience with launching major new products, ideally in a commercial setting
  • Basic knowledge of product marketing concepts
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in finance, banking or insurance industries a plus
  • Passionate about solving customer problems
