Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working on cloud infrastructure systems and automation. You’ve likely been called a Cloud Architect, Cloud Infra, or Cloud Platform Engineer before.
  • Experience with common patterns for app, infrastructure management, and at least some container technologies. This would be systems such as EC2, ELB, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.
  • Significant cloud computing experience (AWS preferred), both migrations and native implementation
  • Familiarity with common programming languages, automation frameworks, and DevOps tools. Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, or similar preferred.
  • Deep understanding of modern systems design, performance and scale using Iac techniques using terraform

  • Good communication, documentation, and people skills. You should be able to explain clearly what problems you’ve been working on and share that knowledge with the rest of the team to help all of us learn together.

Additional responsibilities & expectations include:

  • Participate in various technical and architectural discussions both within the team and across the organization.
  • Drive technical teams towards an “Automate Everything” approach to systems management and DevOps Engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the modernizations and innovations of a Marcus Card domain
