HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Goldman Sachs has adopted BPM development platform Pega for custom app development.
  • GS is looking for an Application engineer to build business-critical case management (Disputes) and business process automation apps that will enable us to provide an industry leading customer experience.
  •  The candidate will be responsible for a wide breadth of technical delivery for Fraud and Dispute Case Management.
  • The role will be hands-on process model design & development, integrations, and general implementation of Pega components. In addition, the role will provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and address defects.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working with agile development methodology and contribute estimates to the planning process.
  • Knowledge of consumer banking is not essential but may provide the candidate with some advantage.
  • Candidate should be comfortable Interfacing with technology teams, to understand and document requirements
  • Candidate should understand business needs, data requirements and specifications; facilitate and develop process workflow required to support implementation of engineering solutions
  • Provide Technical leadership & guidance
  • Develop technical design, specifications & approach, high level/detailed design, testing strategies, and implementation plans for requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Pega and BPM
  • In depth experience with Pega 7 / Pega 8 platform implementation, knowing all aspects of the product and delivery methodology
  • Experience in developing and managing Workflows, User Interfaces, Activities, Utility and Decision rules
  • Experience with using APIs to integrate the Pega platform with other micro-services
  • Proficient with SQL and Web Services
  • Well versed with Integrations using PRPC and has designed integration components for frameworks specific to Consumer Banking
  • Working knowledge on Performance Tuning (PAL, Log Analyzer, DB Tracer/Preflight)
  • Experience working on Agile projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Financial Services domain
  • Perform design reviews and code reviews to validate best practices
  • Experience with implementation on the Pega Cloud
  • Experience with working on the Smart Disputes Pega frameworks
  • Pega CSSA or LSA certification
  • JIRA Experience/knowledge
  • Knowledge of Java & Micro services architecture
  • Experience with using Kafka as messaging middleware
  • Understanding of principles of Continuous Delivery, Devops and System Reliability Engineering
