Group Background

The Divisional Risk Management Team is responsible for oversight over all risks incumbent in Controllers including vendor, entitlements (segregation of duties), resiliency (BCP), data risk management (including exception based approvals and on boarding requirements) and self-service tool governance

Candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to consistently deliver exceptional results with demanding timelines


Principal Responsibilities

  • Drive ongoing governance initiatives to continue program goals to meet policy and audit standards for Controllers division of the firm globally
  • Contribute to creating efficiencies across all divisional risk roles
  • Assist in build out of best in class risk program for Controller managers
  • Provide oversight to 1st and 2nd line governance teams
  • Support in coordinating Steering Council and Working group meetings to ensure proper transparency to divisions
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Vendor Management to build infrastructure to identify platform usage and ensure control implementation
  • Support in creating formal framework with Tech Risk to ensure appropriate oversight and review of control infrastructure and platform classification
  • Provide assistance in monitoring division’s information risk posture, providing management with transparency with the help of management reports/ dashboards
  • Support the governance of agreed upon recurring rules and processes on a defined frequency
  • Liaise with business managers to develop risk remediation plans and advise on control options
  • Provide oversight on Controller usage of self-service tooling
  • Perform exception based responsibilities as a part of Data Risk Management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in fast-paced environment, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional results with demanding timelines


General Experience/Skills

  • 8+ years of overall meaningful experience in process/ automation/ product governance space
  • Experience defining governance roadmap – identifying KRIs, defining KPIs and leading the control implementation.
  • Demonstrable foresight in defining control landscape
  • Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
  • Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence and engage senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new idea with engineering teams
  • Develop business cases with policy and/or implementation recommendation to handle new areas of opportunity, including scaling with software
  • Proven track record of driving innovation on behalf of consumers/clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral; confident in interaction with all levels of employees
  • Detailed-oriented, self-motivated and organized. Able to multi task varying priorities and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Visio, Powerpoint and Sharepoint
