As a Product Manager on our PFMG Product team, a new high priority focus area, you will envision the future of the high-net worth product for Goldman Sachs clients.  A new business line for the firm that has historically targeted only ultra-high net worth individuals, we are now expanding to serve a much broader clientele.  You will specifically be responsible for our Investment Management function, and ensuring that both client-facing and backend tools are delightful and scalable.  You are strong at execution, and able to collaborate across a broad cross-section of business partners to deliver a cohesive experience for our advisors and clients.  We are aiming to deliver a product that is best-in-class.

Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (GS PFM) specializes in creating personalized wealth management plans for affluent individuals and families. We give clients clarity, confidence and control over their financial decisions. Our dedicated team of advisors across approximately 100 offices throughout the U.S., develops and implements personalized plans tailored to each client's values and life goals. Our advisors offer an investment platform inclusive of products and services offered by Goldman Sachs and other third parties, including private banking and lending offerings. We consider the relationships with our clients a lifelong partnership, a partnership backed by over 150 years of Goldman Sachs providing consistency, perspective and access as our clients’ needs evolve.



  • Develop products by analyzing market research and client or advisor insights, aligning on the vision, and executing
  • Collaborate with the Investment Management team, Technology teams, Design, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and others
  • Manage a team to translate business needs into product strategy and technology requirements in and agile framework
  • Actively manage the product backlog and continuously account for emerging priorities
  • Ensure high-quality user experiences for end users by working closely with UX/UI designer
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to develop and communicate product roadmaps
  • Represent Product Team in client engagements
  • Drive and prepare ROI driven business cases
  • Define and develop customer journeys
  • Stay close to industry trends and apply innovative concepts to the product as appropriate

  • Bachelors’ degree required
  • 10+ years’ experience in product management or business technology
  • Strong understanding of financial services and investment management
  • Ability to extrapolate business needs given a problem statement and a base understanding of the capabilities of available technologies
  • Top notch analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with a focus on execution
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus across a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience with launching major new products, ideally in a commercial setting
  • Basic knowledge of product marketing concepts
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Passionate about solving customer problems
