You will partner with the team to grow the Personal Loans product through improving existing feature sets, developing new capabilities, and influencing a strategic product roadmap.

You should naturally rely on consumer insights and data to build product plans and achieve business objectives. In this seat, you must be a problem solver who is comfortable getting into the weeds and is passionate about building world-class consumer product teams in a fast-growing environment. 

You will engage with key stakeholders across business, product, engineering and brand teams to develop, prioritize and build the product roadmap for our Personal Loans business. You will drive the development process to deliver new features and functionality while identifying and measuring key metrics to ensure a best in class customer experience across our web and mobile properties.

 

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Define feature development, build consensus among stakeholders and partner with engineers, designers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences
  • Lead and analyze quantitative and qualitative user feedback and research to inform product strategy and pipeline development
  • Research industry trends and features to develop and pitch recommendations for product roadmap
  • Build trusted relationships with our design, engineering, strategy, program management and other external teams to craft and launch beautiful, easy-to-use features that solve our customers’ most pressing financial problems
  • Define and prioritize new features to be built, write user stories and acceptance criteria and groom stories with developers and designers
  • Collaborate with other product managers, designers, and engineering to ensure cohesiveness of the overall user experience
  • Articulate product features and requirements to different audiences (from development teams to program leadership)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a fast paced, agile product development environment
  • Deep customer focus and experience with consumer research and understanding and identifying customer needs 
  • Prior experience working with and leading cross-functional teams and working across diverse geographical locations
  • Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for projects
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Aptitude for building relationships that enable smooth interactions in internal business collaborations
  • Highly adaptable and flexible skillset; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent change
  • Track record of supporting delivery of complex, high-quality consumer products at scale
  • Strong leadership skills and passion for motivating and developing a talented team
  • Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in design/development and project management applications (Sketch, Figma, Keynote, JIRA, etc) Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, and SQL
  • Bachelor’s / Undergraduate Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical knowledge (including HTML/CSS/JS/SQL/Splunk) a plus
  • Experience working with SA’s, DevOPS, QM and other stakeholders in Technology 
  • Relevant experience in consumer lending
