Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)


Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, TX. Function as a full stack developer actively building and supporting business-critical applications to enable the business to provide an industry leading customer experience. Involved in the full SDLC cycle, responsible for a wide breadth of technical delivery for customer service applications. Hands-on development of web user interfaces, microservices and APIs working with databases and related technologies. Provide production support, perform root cause analysis and address defects. Work daily with the Marcus Cards product owners and the development teams to prioritize and deliver business requirements for the Marcus Cards Customer Care Center. Responsible for end-to-end system development life cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of financial applications. Design, develop, test and maintain Marcus Cards Customer Care technology applications. Work closely with User Interface (UI) designers to understand the behavior of software interface and come up with the technical design to implement. Write and manage software primarily to support UI features, which allow Agents to provide service to Marcus Cards Customers. Develop web UI leveraging technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ReactJS and Redux. Work with object-oriented and distributed Java web applications using frameworks like Spring Boot to build and manage large scale RESTful APIs. Provide code review feedback to team members’ software changes to maintain structural quality of software. Use engineering practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment to manage and deploy code to various environments. Convey technical details of software changes to the Software Quality Assurance (QA) testing team, allowing that team to determine the set of test cases for execution for future software releases. Provide bug fixes and test in an integration testing environment for on-going software releases. Make proficient use of Splunk to provide support for production servers and systems. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies, but no prior knowledge of proprietary technologies required.


Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Three (3) years of experience with Master’s degree or five (5) years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in a related software development field. Must have three (3) years of experience with a Master’s degree or Five (5) years with a Bachelor’s degree with: Full stack web development using React, Redux, JavaScript and Java; Middleware service development using Java; Developing RESTful Microservices; Utilizing database systems including MongoDB; and Utilizing messaging systems including Kafka.
