As a software engineer in FICC Sales Technology, you will work closely with a talented team to build and own part of our ecosystem used by Securities Division salespeople to improve service to our clients, identify opportunities, and increase firm revenue. At the core of our platform is a modern web stack built on RESTful services, big data technologies and dynamic compute - using a variety of open-source, commercial, and proprietary technologies. You will engineer software across all phases of the software development lifecycle: working with salespeople to design new features, building those features, creating and running tests, receiving feedback, and delivering enhancements. You will have the opportunity to work at all levels of the tech stack, though being a full-stack developer is not required.

REALTY MANAGEMENT
The Realty Management Division (RMD) plays an integral role in supporting the firm’s real estate investing strategy by providing investment and asset management services globally in the real estate market, partnering with other divisions in the firm to deliver results wherever Goldman Sachs has an interest. RMD works closely with revenue divisions by providing services such as sourcing, acquisition, underwriting and due diligence of distressed and performing real estate and loan assets, asset management, portfolio management and disposition across various property types.
Role Overview
Residential Mortgages Asset Management (RMAM) is a business unit within the Realty Management Division (RMD) primarily supporting the Securities division’s Mortgage Loan Trading and Mortgage Finance desks. RMAM is seeking a Transaction Manager, primarily responsible for directing and facilitating due diligence (at both the deal and asset levels) for the acquisitions and sales/securitizations of newly originated or performing residential loan portfolios, ensuring completion of transaction closing requirements, and adherence to departmental, divisional and firmwide policies.
Additional responsibilities include recommending the scope of due diligence to be performed; negotiating with, selecting and managing third-party vendor partners who perform due diligence and provide various diligence related products and services; overseeing the due diligence processes; and reporting results while identifying issues and the resulting impacts.

Credit Risk Management (“CRM”), which is part of the Risk Division, is a central part of the Goldman Sachs risk management framework, with primary responsibility for assessing, monitoring and managing credit risk at the Firm. YOUR IMPACT
- Working with business engineers, non-engineers and other members of the Data Intelligence Office to capture business processes and identify data gaps towards business’s revenue goals.
- Implement plans to close those data gaps to meet business process needs, whether it be by acquiring, modelling or hydrating data or improving governance & curation levels of data processes. Work alongside members of the Data Intelligence Office or business engineers as appropriate for these functions.
- Establishing and designing a critical new function within the Data Intelligence office
- Collaborate with other members of the Data Intelligence office to develop a framework for capturing the requirements and producing solutions
- Reviewing process models and providing subject matter expertise
- Helping promote the Data Fabric and the uptake of the underlying tools such as Workflow, PURE, and Data Lake

BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW
The primary role of Internal Audit is to help protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the organization. Internal Audit independently assesses the firm’s internal control structure. We provide assurance that financial reporting is reliable, that there is compliance with applicable laws and regulations and that the firm’s operations are effectively controlled. We assist management in identifying risk and commercially managing risk by providing advice in developing control solutions and monitoring the implementation of management’s control measures. Internal Audit assists the firm’s Board of Directors’ Audit Committee in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities and regularly interacts with the external independent auditors. Internal Audit is organized into global teams of business and technology auditors.
