Goldman Sachs Core Engineering is building out its ClearFactr team and is looking for a talented and passionate engineer who thrives in an extremely entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. ClearFactr is a spreadsheet platform purpose-built for financial modeling, and is at the forefront of Goldman Sachs’ migration to the cloud. This is a high-visibility role, backed by some of the senior-most leaders of the firm, and as such, will require creativity and drive to deliver on an ambitious roadmap. Come join ClearFactr's growing Dallas team as we build Goldman Sachs’ proprietary cloud-based financial modeling platform. It enables users to create an integrated ecosystem out of otherwise dispersed, distributed, and disconnected financial models. It can be used via a spreadsheet-like user interface within a web browser, and/or programmatically via APIs. It combines unique approaches to modeling clarity, powerful low/no-code analytics, and collaboration to solve a wide variety of risk, modeling, and workflow challenges. ClearFactr is expanding its footprint inside the firm and preparing to launch externally.
GLOBAL COMPLIANCE
Our division prevents, detects and mitigates compliance, regulatory and reputational risk across the firm and helps to strengthen the firm’s culture of compliance. Compliance accomplishes these through the firm’s enterprise-wide compliance risk management program. As an independent control function and part of the firm’s second line of defense, Compliance assesses the firm’s compliance, regulatory and reputational risk; monitors for compliance with new or amended laws, rules and regulations; designs and implements controls, policies, procedures and training; conducts independent testing; investigates, surveils and monitors for compliance risks and breaches; and leads the firm’s responses to regulatory examinations, audits and inquiries. You'll be part of a team with members from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, such as law, accounting, sales, and trading. We look for those who possess sound judgment, curiosity, and are able to adapt to a changing regulatory landscape.
CORPORATE TREASURY
Manages the firm’s liquidity, funding, balance sheet and capital to maximize net interest income and return on equity through liability planning and execution, financial resource allocation, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio management.
DIVISIONAL RISK
The Divisional Risk team works across the division to assess and calibrate risk frameworks, driving optimisation of financial resources on internal and external metrics.
The Insurance team within Corporate Treasury is an independent risk management function, with the mission to support active risk management across the firm and the goal to procure risk transfer insurance products to mitigate the firm’s and its businesses’ risk exposures globally. The Insurance team procures property, casualty and management liability insurance on behalf of the firm and its various businesses. The ideal candidate should have an interest in pursuing a career focused in risk mitigation and resource efficiency, and be interested in solving complex business problems and playing a pivotal role in shaping the forward strategy.

Goldman Sachs Technology Risk is leading threat, risk analysis and data science initiatives
that are helping to protect the firm and our clients from information and cyber security risks. Our team equips the firm with the knowledge and tools to measure risk, identify and mitigate threats and protect against unauthorized disclosure of confidential information for our clients, internal business functions, and our extended supply chain.
Business Unit OverviewLed by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Technology Risk secures Goldman Sachs against hackers and other cyber threats. We are responsible for detecting and preventing attempted cyber intrusions against the firm, helping the firm develop more secure applications and infrastructure, developing software in support of our efforts, measuring cybersecurity risk, and designing and driving implementation of cybersecurity controls. The team has global presence across the Americas, APAC, India and EMEA. Within Technology Risk, the Chief of Staff team is a critical part of the leadership team and is responsible for driving the execution of strategic priorities and special projects as defined by the CISO and Engineering leadership, including budgeting and resource planning and oversight, workforce strategy and organizational design, communications, and daily business operations. RoleWe are looking for an experienced, highly self-motivated candidate with a strong project/program management background to operate global security programs with a successful track record of delivering and maintaining effective solutions. In addition, this role will have a focus on providing regional financial data analysis, management and control for all Technology expenses. MISSION
As an important member of Personal Financial Management, the Wealth Manager Associate counsels clients on investment opportunities, in alignment with the client’s needs, goals and tolerance for risk under the direct supervision of the Regional Offices Managing Director. The PANORAMA associate product manager will be focused on working with users and the Engineering team in a dynamic environment to deliver products and features iteratively through sprints to achieve a flagship self-service data discovery platform for the firm.Accelerate is a Firmwide initiative to foster innovation and collaboration across divisions, with a focus on the firm’s future growth, offering employees the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. PANORAMA is an Accelerate business that is building a state of the art self-service data analytics solution discovery platform to increase the efficiency and engagement of GS data consumers across all our businesses. The platform will feature best in class search ranking technologies including machine learning capabilities coupled with an intelligently designed meta data overlay to enrich data assets, delivering increased data asset discovery, reuse and promotion of the most valuable data assets developed by GS employees. The Centralized Business Operations Manager (“BOM”) at Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (“GS PFM”) is an integral part of our team serving as the corporate extension and the true connection to our Heads of Office and local offices employees. This influential & enthusiastic communicator will perform as an internal champion to support the vision, positive culture and team spirit of GS PFM. The key role of this position is to manage the overall success of many different projects and initiatives by working side-by-side with the multiple departments, field offices and outside vendors. The Centralized BOM has a keen eye for budgeting and project managing assignments of all levels. They enjoy and excel at managing the day to day operations &escalations of multiple regional offices, including; accounting, investment operations, marketing, growth, human resources, communications, investment management, compliance and technology.
This position requires a proactive approach and an ability to independently carry out the responsibilities of the role. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, good judgment, and an ability to take initiative, and increase operational efficiency. The ability to effectively manage time and multi-task with attention to detail is critical to this role.
