BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
Credit Review complements the Firm’s independent risk-management infrastructure through the independent review and ongoing monitoring of the quality of the loan and derivative portfolio. Credit Review also validates and tests Credit Risk’s ratings, processes and methodologies. The group reports to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and its function is independent of Credit Risk’s processes.

Our team equips the firm with the knowledge and tools to measure risk, identify and mitigate threats and protect against unauthorized disclosure of confidential information for our clients, internal business functions, and our extended supply chain.
Risk Adivsory delivers best in class advisory support and technology solutions across the information security risk domain including scalable uplifts of common core security solutions for use across Goldman Sachs. Prevents the misuse, unauthorized disclosure, or loss of firm data across e-mail, file transfer, and the Internet. Ensures business continuity and technology resilience by safeguarding Goldman Sachs from major operational disruptions through preventative
measures including business planning, capability design,and the testing of mitigants.
Technology Risk Advisory delivers best in class advisory support and technology solutions across the Information Security risk domains, including scalable uplifts of common core security solutions for use across Goldman Sachs and conducting cyber risk assessments. We are looking for a candidate to focus on mobile security engineering for internal applications and delivery of mobile products.

RISK
Our Risk division develops comprehensive processes to monitor, assess, and manage the risk of expected and unexpected events that may have an adverse impact on the firm. Risk professionals execute critical day-to-day risk management activities, lead projects and contribute to the ongoing advancement of a robust risk management program. Effective coordination with executive management, business units, control departments and technology is critical for success.
LIQUIDITY RISK (LR)
Liquidity Risk is the independent risk management function responsible for identifying, quantifying, and managing the liquidity risk of the firm. We work closely with Corporate Treasury, Controllers, Operations, Securities Division, and the broader Risk organization to provide independent risk assessment and oversight of the firm’s liquidity risk taking. Key functions include:
- Stress Testing: Methodology development, model creation and governance, assumption review and approval, and risk measurement
- Regulatory Stress Metrics, Liaison, & Advocacy: Calculation and disclosure of key regulatory stress metrics, guidance and rule interpretation, engagement with global regulators, and policy advocacy
- Risk Limit Governance: Setting liquidity risk appetite, calibration of risk limits, sign-off on limits frameworks, and ongoing monitoring of limit utilization and remediation
- Analytics: Measurement, analysis, and reporting of risk measures, development of platforms and tools for risk calculation and visualization, and governance of data quality and completeness controls
- Governance & Reviews: Ongoing evaluation of compliance with key regulatory regimes, new activity impact assessments and approvals, engagement with key committees and governing bodies, and maintenance of key policies and procedures
- Risk Oversight: Monitor, govern, and challenge various liquidity and funding execution activities, including cash & collateral management, funds transfer pricing, balance sheet usage, liquidity and funding projections, and liability management
- Active and ongoing engagement with risk taking businesses to understand, monitor, and govern liquidity risk
- Direct engagement with the Chief Risk Officer and global regulators regarding material risks, current risk exposures, and limits governance

YOUR IMPACT
Our Corporate Treasury Engineering team is a world leader in developing quantitative techniques and technological solutions that solve complex and commercial business problems. We partner with our firm’s treasurer and other members of Corporate Treasury senior leadership to manage the firm’s liquidity risk, secured and unsecured funding programs, and the level and composition of consolidated and subsidiary equity capital and to invest any excess liquidity. In this role, you will be provided unique insight into the firm’s business activities and asset strategy. You will be responsible for defining, developing software’s to analyze data, built metric calculators, automated tools to help business get insights into data, predict scenarios and perform better decision making to reduce interest expenses for the firm. RMD Technology supports the Realty Management Division, a global business unit that provides loan, real estate and investment management services to multiple trading desks across the firm. The applications built by RMD Technology facilitate the life cycle of $24 billion assets under management across different regions and asset classes. Realty Management Division Technology is seeking an Application Developer to develop and support Technology projects for Realty Management Division. The successful candidate Work closely with a team of Java and Web developers, focusing on architecture, development, maintenance and support of our web applications platform. Candidate will collaborate as a member of a global cross functional team to address various business’s needs, provide technical support and would be responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for the various systems.
As a member of RMD Technology division, applicant must be flexible in adapting to changing business priorities and comfortable filling a variety of development roles and responsibilities. Realty Management Division (RMD) is primarily involved in the sourcing, acquisition, underwriting and due diligence of performing and distressed real estate and loan assets, real estate management and disposition, credit investing services and portfolio management.

RISK ENGINEERING (RE)
Risk Engineering, which is part of the Risk Division, is a central part of the Goldman Sachs risk management framework, with primary responsibility to provide robust metrics, data-driven insights, and effective technologies for risk management. RE is staffed globally with offices including Dallas, New Jersey, New York, Salt Lake City, London, Warsaw, Bengaluru, Singapore, and Tokyo. As a member of RE, you will interface with a variety of divisions around the firm as well as the other regional offices.
