Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (GS PFM) specializes in creating personalized wealth management plans for affluent individuals and families. We give clients clarity, confidence and control over their financial decisions. Our dedicated team of advisors across approximately 100 offices throughout the U.S., develops and implements personalized plans tailored to each client's values and life goals. Our advisors offer an investment platform inclusive of products and services offered by Goldman Sachs and other third parties, including private banking and lending offerings. We consider the relationships with our clients a lifelong partnership, a partnership backed by over 150 years of Goldman Sachs providing consistency, perspective and access as our clients’ needs evolve.

The firm’s Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with more than 150 years of experience. Today, we serve millions of customers across multiple products including lending, deposits, financial tools, and our partnership with Apple on Apple Card. We use innovative design, data, engineering and other core capabilities to provide customers with powerful tools and products that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity. GLOBAL COMPLIANCE
Our division prevents, detects and mitigates compliance, regulatory and reputational risk across the firm and helps to strengthen the firm’s culture of compliance. Compliance accomplishes these through the firm’s enterprise-wide compliance risk management program. As an independent control function and part of the firm’s second line of defense, Compliance assesses the firm’s compliance, regulatory and reputational risk; monitors for compliance with new or amended laws, rules and regulations; designs and implements controls, policies, procedures and training; conducts independent testing; investigates, surveils and monitors for compliance risks and breaches; and leads the firm’s responses to regulatory examinations, audits and inquiries. You'll be part of a team with members from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, such as law, accounting, sales, and trading. We look for those who possess sound judgment, curiosity, and are able to adapt to a changing regulatory landscape.

The Consumer and Wealth Management Division includes Global Private Wealth Management, High Net Worth Wealth Management and the Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CWM partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.
The Role:
Alternative Capital Markets (ACM) is a global team with 30+ alternative investment professionals across four offices serving institutions, foundations, family offices, high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. ACM is focused on implementation advice, sourcing, structuring, capital markets, client coverage and investor relations across global CWM alternative investment portfolios. ACM is the architect of the CWM alternatives offering including GS proprietary investment opportunities in the GS Asset Management Division (AMD) and unique, best-in-class open architecture alternatives from external partners.

We help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges around the world, raise funding, and manage risk. MERCHANT BANKING

Structured Finance & Lending (SFL) Engineering Team within Global Markets Division (GMD) is responsible for designing, developing and supporting applications for Structured Lending Businesses and Clients. Our focus has been to create Structured Lending Platform as part of the GS Marquee strategy which covers a wide spectrum of asset classes such as Loans, Repurchase Agreements (Repos), Asset-Backed Securities and Derivatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the Structured Lending businesses and Strats in GMD to deliver solutions using latest technology stack while learning finance.

The Investment Strategy Group (ISG) within Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management has responsibility for strategic and tactical asset allocation views and advice for the firm’s high net worth clients and certain institutions. The role of an ISG member requires a broad set of qualities, including a passion for investing, client servicing, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.
The Tactical Asset Allocation team (TAA) within seeks to generate tactical alpha for clients’ portfolios by investing across macro asset classes (equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities). In addition to its investment mandate, the TAA publishes several widely distributed reports and Outlooks each year, and is responsible for disseminating and communicating macro investment vies to the firm’s clients.

Internal Audit
As the third line of defense, Internal Audit’s (IA) mission is to independently assess the firm’s overall control environment, including the firm’s governance processes and controls, and risk management and capital and anti-financial crime frameworks. In doing so, IA:
- Communicates and reports on the effectiveness of the firm’s governance, risk management and controls that mitigate current and evolving risk
- Raise awareness of control risk
- Assesses the firm’s control culture and conduct risks; and
- Monitors management’s implementation of control measures
