The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ strategy and in supporting and enhancing the firm’s distinctive culture. Our goal is to provide our people, clients, shareholders and the broader public with information about the breadth of our global efforts, highlight our focus on delivering sustainable, long-term returns for our shareholders and demonstrate our commitment to making an impact on the communities where we live and work and on society more broadly.
The Brand and Content Strategy (BCS) group is responsible for managing the external facing brand of Goldman Sachs and creating content that explains our businesses, the work we do for clients, and our insights on key trends and themes shaping the global economy. We create content that is distributed across goldmansachs.com, social media, paid media campaigns, and sponsored content hubs, among other platforms. Our team also manages the firm’s presence on social media (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the GS.com website. We manage marketing for firm recruitment efforts, the philanthropic efforts of the Office of Corporate Engagement (e.g., 10,000 Women, 10,000 Small Businesses), and major initiatives such as Launch With GS and Sustainable Finance. Furthermore, we have responsibility for partnerships, conferences, and speaker series; industry awards and rankings; and agency and outside vendor sourcing. Finally, we also manage masterbrand strategy and firmwide brand portfolio frameworks, and serve as internal marketing consultants to the different businesses across the firm.

The Operations Division is the engine room that powers Goldman Sachs, and Operations Technology is driving their industrialization through automation, digitization and orchestration.
Transaction Services supports and develops the firm’s middle-office systems across the entire securities division globally, and has a direct impact on the effective functioning of the firm’s trading and sales operations on a day-to-day basis. As a member of our team you will work closely with the securities business and technical colleagues to solve complex technical problems and contribute to commercially-effective technical solutions of evolving business requirements. The successful candidate will work interactively with technical teammates locally and in New York, London, and Bengaluru, as well as with colleagues in operations and on trading desks. Effective problem-solving through communication and a highly-developed analytical and technical skillset are essential to your success. Our technology stack heavily emphasizes proprietary systems recognized throughout the financial industry and beyond as best-in-class. A willing and enthusiastic attitude toward mastering the necessary technical skills, as well as toward forming a detailed understanding of the trading businesses you will work with, are key requirements of the role. Personal interests which include finance, financial computing, highly-distributed systems, and programming languages are a plus.

Prime Brokerage Clearing Services Operations provides clearing, execution and custody services for all major products across over 75 exchanges. Clients include hedge funds, asset managers, governments, corporates, broker dealers, Goldman Sachs franchise traders, other professional investors and market markers. Operations teams supporting the Prime Brokerage and Clearing Services business are responsible for providing centralized securities clearing and settlement, managing cash inflows and payments, and maintaining the accuracy of clients’ positions and transactions. While interacting with various parties such as clients, clearing houses, Securities Division and Technology, Prime Brokerage Operations helps the firm and clients to manage risk exposed across these markets and products.
YOUR IMPACT
Prime Brokerage & Clearing Middle Office is seeking a highly skilled individual to engage in client communication and risk management. The role will include daily ownership of trade lifecycle exceptions and fail management for a set client base across the Prime Brokerage and/or Prime Clearing spectrum. The individual would be expected to partner with internal stakeholders to analyze thematic issues and work to implement enhancements within current workflows. The individual would be expected to learn quickly, to efficiently manage time and prioritize, to effectively navigate the organization, and demonstrate a strong desire to learn. The individual will be exposed to global markets across listed cash equity and fixed income products. The role requires strong communication skills and a focus on partnership with both internal teams and external clients.
The candidate will be involved in trade lifecycle management (including client trade exceptions, pre-settlement and fails management) by interacting with clients, counterparty brokers, client service and various Operations teams to manage risk exposed across these markets and products. Additionally, the candidate would be expected to partner with other stakeholder teams (including Securities Division and Technology) to identify/resolve thematic issues, and work to implement enhancements to increase efficiency in current processes.

The Directory Services Engineering team within the User Platform Engineering organization is looking for an experienced engineer in the Linux LDAP space. This position will be working with a global team responsible for the architecture, design and development of systems supporting LDAP servers for Goldman Sachs. The LDAP infrastructure supports wide and varied services that require high availability and performance in a secure environment.
As a member of the Directory Services Engineering team, this position will help design, engineer and deploy solutions to help ensure the security, resiliency and operational health of Linux-based LDAP platforms within Goldman Sachs. Responsibilities will also include coordinating with various technology infrastructure teams for infrastructure projects, managing systems lifecycle and evaluating existing solutions for optimizations or enhancements. The position will also be engaged in vendor management, industry analysis, product benchmarking and contributing to the technical understanding and promotion of new and existing standards, solutions and tools. The ideal candidate will have will have a minimum of five years in management and deployment of a Linux LDAP Infrastructure, including the definition and monitoring of Service Level Objectives (SLO's). The candidate will also be familiar with identity management and federated identity concepts within medium to large enterprises.
